Make a Wish --

Hi everyone and thanks for stopping by.  I want to share a cute little birthday card featuring Joset Designs along with some wonderful dies from the Els van de Burgt Studio, all from Elizabeth Craft Designs.  This little cupcake just couldn't be any cuter and a great way to send a sweet birthday greeting. From the glittery frosting to the festive bow - who wouldn't want to make a wish? The finished card is 5.5" square on a base of 100lb. Soft Finish Cardstock.  I will be making a few more of these for the birthdays in our family coming in February.

I hope you have enjoyed - I have linked all products used below.  Just click on the link to shop.

It's Tag Friday @ A Vintage Journey

Hi everyone and welcome to Tag Friday (although it's still Thursday here in the US).  Whenever there is a 5th Friday in a month - that means the Creative Guides make a tag to share and it can be any theme we like.  To see all the tags from my talented team mates, click here.   I'm making my tag do double duty so I can share it on the Tim Holtz Blog for my January tag.

Valentine's Card

Hi everyone and happy Saturday.  I have a quick card for Valentine's Day to share with you today.

I used some of the new Through the Lens paper, Wood, from the Els van de Burgt collection at Elizabeth Craft Designs.  These great papers will be available at the end of February.  I also used the new Stitched Squares.  What goes better with wood than a beaver?  Here is Baker the Beaver - one of the new dies just released from Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.

On the inside of the card you can see that Baker is holding a gift box of yummy chocolates for his, hopefully,  valentine.

All die sets used are linked below so just chick away to shop.
Other papers used are from Stampin Up.

It seems that Baker found a challenge to enter over at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge where they are asking for Love is in the Air + Use Red.  Red is on the inside so hope the team will come take a look.
While he was poking around he found Create with Critters over at
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I hope you have enjoyed and have a wonderful weekend,

Love is in the Air

Hi all -

I would love for  you to stop by the Elizabeth Craft Designs Blog today to see a complete tutorial on how I made this Artist Trading Block featuring the new papers  "Through the Lens" from Els van de Burght.  Simply click here.

Although there seems to be a contradiction in terms, I'm entering this in the Emerald Creek Dare challenge where they say Valentine's is NOT in the air.

Have a creative weekend,

New

Hi all, welcome to day 2 of the Karen Burniston Designer Challenge week.  The theme for this week is NEW.  While it is a fact that Jinks the Monkey is part of the "new" collection just released by Karen Burniston for  Elizabeth Craft Designs - he has been seen here on my blog before - but not quite like this.

For this tag, Jinks has gone Steampunk - so much fun!!

I have lots of strange steampunk charms and brads in my stash and this was the perfect time to use some of them.

I have linked the die and stamp sets below so you can click away for more details.

Don't forget to visit Karen's blog tomorrow to see what each member of the design team made with the NEW release.  You can do that by CLICKING HERE

Steampunk Coffee

Hi and welcome to this month's Karen Burniston Designer Challenge Week.  I am sharing the project  I made for the new FREE E-book that was released during CHA Winter 2016.  Each member of the design team, including Karen, made a project using the new release from Karen Burniston for Elizabeth Craft Designs.  I'm so happy with the way this card turned out and I hope you enjoy it as well.

The star of the show with Pop it Up Dies is always the inside of the card - so I'll start there.

I'm not going to go into the details of how this card was made because you can find complete detailed instructions and step by step photos in the E-book by clicking here.

Last but certainly not least is the card front.
I have linked all die and stamp sets below for your browsing convenience.

We have a new format for the Designer Challenge Week.  We are moving from the ECD blog to Karen's blog starting today.  To see all the great designs from the entire team on Wednesday January 20, 2016  simply

Happy New Year

HAPPY NEW YEAR - I'm stopping by today to wish everyone a happy & healthy new year and to share a tag for the first day of 2016.

I've been playing with some of the fabulous new papers from Elizabeth Craft Designs called "Through the Lens" designed by Els van de Burgt.  I feel in love with these papers at first sight and couldn't wait to start using them. There are three categories, Wood, Metal & Stone and they are all just beautiful.  They will be available soon.  Today I'm using Metal for the background and Stone for the brick mortar.

The paper and dies I used are linked below.

OK, I see that the theme for Mixed Media Monthly Challenge is "Time Flies", this tag will fit that theme perfectly.

I had no idea when I made this that it would fit so many other challenges out there in blogland but I will also be adding it to Crazy 4 Challenges. They want "Z", for zipper of course.

Hope this is your best year yet!!!
